Vasilis Prodromou SOLO

After a series of sold-out performances, Vasilis invites you to experience his SOLO.

You’ll hear stories laced with existential and political reflections, songs about love, memory, and revolution, and tales that wrestle with the ideas of “forever,” “never,” and “never again.” All of this unfolds with the intention of “acknowledging everything that’s his—his rights and his wrongs,” as he sings in “At the Foot of the World,” from his debut album “Life Begins Now.”

Let’s get acquainted…

Vasilis studied at the Music School of Serres, while also taking lessons in folk guitar and three-string bouzouki with Stavros Vasdekis and Dimitris Psarras respectively.
During his Architecture studies at Democritus University of Thrace, he became active as a musician and singer, performing across Northern Greece.

In December 2013, after completing his architectural studies, he made his first appearance in Athens, performing with Glykeria and Babis Tsertos.
Since then, he has collaborated—both live and in the studio—with leading composers, songwriters, and performers, while presenting his own music in venues within and beyond Athens. His main creative companions include composer and accordionist Dasho Kurti, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Dimitris Sintos, and drummer Thanos Tselebis.

He is also a member of Pagan, a progressive-ethnic band, where he plays acoustic guitar and sings.
