INNERFEST by Innersense Productions
Innersense Productions celebrates 30 years of musical activity and marks the occasion with an explosive 3-day festival! 3 different days, 3 different music genres, one shared culture, with each day’s Line Up also paying tribute to the Local Heroes of each genre.
Back in the now very distant 1996, Innersense was born as a natural evolution following the Infinity Parties at the legendary Alsos Park, in Pedion tou Areos. The goal was one and only: the promotion of urban and bass culture through the organization of music events centered around breaks and bass.
Alsos, Plus Soda, Venue, Cavo Paradiso, Decadance… Clubs and festivals throughout Greece, as well as in Croatia, the United Kingdom, and Belgium.
More than 70 international artists brought to Greece, with most of them performing in the country for the first time. Among them: Ghostface Killah (Wu-Tang Clan), Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys), MixHell (Iggor Cavalera & Laima Leyton), L’Entourloop, Goldie, Photek, LTJ Bukem, Adam Freeland, DJ Vadim and many more…
Bookings, management, and concert organization for Greek artists across Greece as well as in Belgium, France, and Japan…
This is, condensed into a few lines, the legacy of Innersense Productions and its contribution to shaping the contemporary music culture of Athens, with the goal of constant evolution and a gaze fixed on the future, always with respect but without attachment to the past.
30 years and many hundreds of nights later since that very first one in 1996 at Alsos Park, the time has come this year for Innersense Productions to celebrate together with the people who have supported it all these years, through a series of events, highlighted by InnerFest, a Music Festival featuring different music genres of the same culture.

SUNDAY JUNE 14 @ PLYFA – REGGAE / DUB / ROOTS
HEADLINERS: Groundation – Road Duck plus Top Greek Selectors
Since their formation in 1998, Groundation have belonged among the legends of global reggae. Their first two albums (Young Tree and Each One Teach One) established a unique roots sound that defines them. In 2002, the album Hebron Gate was recorded, gaining immediate success and bringing international recognition to the band, becoming ever since a masterpiece of their progressive and unique roots reggae sound.
In 2018, following the departure of some founding members, the legendary band from California regrouped around its leader, Harrison Stafford, who surrounded himself with some of the finest musicians who, like him, had graduated from the famous Sonoma State University.
The resulting sound remains deeply faithful to the jazz-infused reggae that established Groundation’s reputation from the very beginning. This new generation of virtuosos brings all of its talent, creativity, and energy to the live performances.
On Sunday, June 14 at PLYFA, we will have the pleasure of enjoying the top 10-member band in its full formation live, carrying their brand-new album Candle Burning with them as part of their European tour. After more than 20 years and ten studio albums, Groundation return with their 11th album, recorded 100% analog at the famous ICP Studio in Brussels. The result is a high-quality sound, with complex yet captivating arrangements and lyrics that are deeply human and poetic.
Before Groundation, the stage of PLYFA will host Road Duck — the 7-member Athens-based band considered the best Dub-Roots-Reggae band in Greece. Their latest album Conflict Of Interest has captivated fans of the genre, something also proven by their recent performance at a packed Piraeus Club Academy.
The two bands will be joined by top Greek Selectors with their DJ Sets. Anna Mystic, Irie Action, Kilimanjaro, Nesta and Piranhas complete a unique gathering for our country’s Reggae – Dub – Roots scene.
*Bars and snack stands will operate inside the venue for the audience’s convenience, and official merchandise from the artists and Innersense Productions will be available.
