Christos Tzitzimikas & Banda Calda
On Friday, November 14th at PLYFA, starting at 20:30, the seven-member Banda Calda and Christos Tzitzimikas join forces, measuring time through their music and taking us on a journey from the Mastorochoria of Epirus to the plains of Imathia.
We’ll hear all the voices and musical dialects that once nestled—and still do—at the foothills of Smolikas and Tymfi, Grammos and Verno, Kaimaktsalan, Paiko, and Vermio, and we’ll dance to the steps of their people.
